firefox profile manager #

in shortcut or cmd

# start the profile manager
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -P

# start firefox with a profile SRE
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p "SRE"

clone a profile named SRE #

  1. create a new profile SRE-clone in firefox profile manager
  2. copy SRE’s profile to the SRE-clone folder
cd %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
# copy # SRE\*  to SRE-clone\

  • find the +++ folder

  • Ghostery – Privacy Ad Blocker
    • store a big sqlite file in storage folder
    • remove it, restar firefox, and install it, clear it without touch the folder
